Welcome!

Thank you for joining with me in my efforts to get my print column syndicated! I appreciate you more than you know.

When writing your comment, please consider what information you believe the selection committee would find helpful or relevant in reviewing my application. Do we have a professional association? Can you speak to my political experience? How long have you known me or been reading my columns?

Perhaps most important is why you believe the selection committee should take a chance on my work specifically. They choose from literally hundreds of submissions a year. What is it about my column that sets it apart from other things you read -- and what it is that will draw their readers to it?

If you'd like to read some of my previous columns, they are all available online. Click on the link in the sidebar to access the archive.

Thank you so much for taking the time to do this and for believing in my work. I will post progress updates here as the process proceeds!

Jennifer

I’m a concerned citizen and a small-time political activist concentrating on helping to improve Alabama’s government. Every day I read the opinion sections of several of Alabama’s newspapers and numerous blogs that deal with Alabama politics and government.

Through one of those blogs I learned about Jennifer F. Johnson’s blog, “Clarion Caller – The Blog” and then of her editorials that are published in the Opelika-Auburn News’ online edition, and I was hooked.

Mrs. Foster’s relatively young age, compared to mine, belies her knowledge about governmental affairs. She has had experience in government at the state level in Florida and understands how government works at all levels. She applies that knowledge to current affairs and explains to her readers what is taking place, where, how, when, and why, on the local, national, and international levels, in terms that an average reader can comprehend. For that reason here blog and her editorials in the Opelika-Auburn News have become required reading for me. As far as I’m concerned, what she writes is as informative, knowledgeable, and well researched as anything I read that is written by any Alabamian and many writers elsewhere.

With no reservation I strongly recommend that her abilities and accomplishments be recognized by bestowing upon her product at least regional, if not national or international syndication.

Jennifer, can you correct your name in my post? I don't know why I typed "Johnson" instead of "Foster". I guessI had my daughters on my mind.

I have been reading Jennifer Foster's columns since she began contributing to the editorial page of the Opelika-Auburn News. She has been like a breath of fresh air with her well written, relevant opinions regarding the politics of America.

Her columns deserve a wider readership, and would be relevant in any market. She has a way of making politics understandable and interesting.

I have been amazed that someone so young has such a grasp of the political climate these days. Her columns would be an asset to any publication.

I highly reccomend that her columns be given syndication, so that her insights and ideas can be shared with a larger audience.

I wholeheartedly support Jennifer Foster's syndication effort. Her work ethic, dedication and balance are without equal. I worked with Jennifer during her college years when she was an investigative reporter for The Plainsman of Auburn, Ala. She is a self starter. She is unwavering in her fairness and pursuit of the truth. She is a life-long journalist who has tremendous experience, and she has the historical knowledge to do the job right. I'm happy to submit a letter of recommendation to whomever makes the decision to distribute her columns on a broader basis. Just let me know! Thanks and good luck, Jennifer!
